Ascension
Ascension constructs a vertical axis between two states — the grounded and the luminous — without collapsing the distance between them.
A golden figure sits in stillness at the base of a white staircase. From the crown of its head, waves of light radiate outward and rise through the composition, forming a corridor that terminates in a levitating figure of pure white. The staircase is the only concrete structure in the image — above it, form dissolves into light, cloud, and color. At the base, the figure holds a small form in its hands: barely perceptible, already beginning to move.
The light does not pull the figure upward. It establishes the threshold at which the figure becomes capable of movement.
